TOUR INFORMATION

SEASON

Tours run May 15 through October 31, 7 days a week, weather permitting. Bookings are accepted year-round.

TOUR DEPARTURE

Private tours are offered at 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to sign in and be ready to begin your tour. Tour duration: approximatively 3.5 to 4 hours.

OFF-ROAD ADVENTURE

Guests are taken off-road into the high desert wild horse area of McCullough Peaks near Cody, Wyoming. The tour travels through beautiful open landscapes, geological formations, and wild mustang country.

TRANSPORTATION

Tours are conducted in comfortable SUV vehicles. Each vehicle accommodates up to 6 guests. Vehicles are cleaned and sanitized before each tour.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Guests are provided with Vortex binoculars and Vortex spotting scope for wildlife viewing. Snacks, cold drinks, and water are included. Each guest also receives a gift bag with surprise memorabilia.

WHAT TO BRING

Please wear comfortable clothing, a jacket, and closed-toe shoes such as hiking boots or cowboy boots. We recommend bringing sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, a hat, a cooling towel, and a camera or cell phone.

GUIDES

Our guides are First Aid and CPR certified and experienced in the McCullough Peaks wild horse area.

IMPORTANT NOTE

There are no restrooms available out where you are about to go.

SAFETY

This is high desert country. Please be aware that rattlesnakes may be present. We recommend wearing boots or closed-toe shoes.

RESERVATIONS & WAIVER

Because no two tours are the same, all private tours are by phone reservation only. A waiver must be signed by all guests before each tour.

MEETING LOCATION

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Guests meet at the Yellowstone Regional Airport meet at the south end of the parking lot near the Welcome to Wyoming sign. From there, the tour travels about 15 minutes to reach the wild horse range. Be prepared for off-road travel on dirt and two-track roads.

WAIVER REQUIRED

All guests must sign a waiver before participating in a Cody Wild Mustang Tours adventure.

For your convenience, please review and complete the waiver before your scheduled tour whenever possible. Guests who have not completed the waiver in advance will be asked to sign it before departure.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time so there is enough time to check in, complete any required paperwork, and prepare for the tour.

VIEW WAIVER & SIGN

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cody Wild Mustang Tours has a 24-hour cancellation policy.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour will receive a refund of the tour price, less a $50 processing fee.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

If Cody Wild Mustang Tours LLC cancels a tour due to weather or unforeseen conditions, guests will be rescheduled or refunded.
